Temporary Skills Visa for Thai

If you are married to an Australian citizen then you can also apply for an Australian spouse visa or an Australian fiancée visa if you are engaged to get married. The main features are that this Australian visa lets a skilled worker from Thailand travel to Australia to work in their nominated occupation for their approved sponsor for a period of up to four years. Note that in order to obtain this you need to be sponsored by an approved business in Australia. Temporary Skills Visa allows you to:

• work in Australia for up to four years
• bring your family to work or study in Australia
• travel in and out of Australia as often as you want.

Note that your occupation must be on the skills occupation list as set out by the Australian government. You also need to be able to show the skill requirements for the nominated occupation on the list. Also have to meet registration and licensing obligations of the occupation.
